Although the original can't be beaten, It's a nice take in a trance perspective, the only problem I have is the vocals. Even though I'm from Liverpool, the guy providing the vocals is ruining the track by putting too much emphasis on the accent. I don't know if he's trying to sound appealing by being cocky on the vocals but it isn't working for me and it's annoying and embarrassing, especially at "Drive boy" and "Come over, come over" which sounds more like "Cyum over, cyum over". I'm starting to think if that's the quality standard of vocals that producers are willing to work with today then I might give it a go myself :/

The whole thing is not about Yves Deruyter and L-Vee as co-producer at all. They just earned some cash on the obvious commercial thing - to lay that highly emotional epic breakdown of the Underworld's 'Born Slippy' track (1995) upon some standard trance beats. Somehow for 10 years noone did it. Maybe because the gems cost too high.

Actually the track names and credits would look more truthful, if they looked like:
01. Underworld - Born Slippy (Yves Deruyter Mix)
- as like I said the remix work consisted only of mixing the original breakdown sample with the original vocal at its place (almost half of the original track) with some prog-trance beats.
02. Underworld - Born Slippy (Yves Deruyter Peace Remix)
- as the track uses the original synth and melo its own way, this time without vocals.
