Hero of Time Music From The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. Album 2017 21 Songs. Various Artists. Саундтреки , 2017. 1:57: of Time is unprecedented in many ways, setting out to arrange and record with a full 64-piece orchestra the most poignant moments from the game. After finding success on Kickstarter with over 1,000 backers contributing over 50,000, this dream has become a reality. Orchestral recordings of music from The Legend of Zelda have become increasingly popular over the last several years, notes arranger and project director Eric Buchholz. Hero of Time is an epic re-imagining of the soundtrack to Nintendo's timeless adventure RPG, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Hero of Time is unprecedented in many ways, setting out to arrange and record with a full 64-piece orchestra the most poignant moments from the game. Tracks In This Album. Hero of Time - Eric Buchholz. The Man with Evil Eyes - Eric Buchholz. Fateful Morning - Eric Buchholz. Feast of the Dragon - Wayne Strange. Dark Waters - David Peacock. Village of Shadows - Eric Buchholz. Spirit of the Valley - Eric Buchholz. Courage, Wisdom and Light - Eric Buchholz. Ganon's Tower - Eric Buchholz. Feast of the Fire Dragon. Eric Buchholz. feat: Wayne Strange. The album is arranged & composed by Eric Buchholz, a maestro of video game concert tours across the globe, including The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony plus the bonus CD that shipped with Skyward Sword, The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses, and many more. The stunning album artwork was created by Ryan Brinkerhoff, full of subtle visual detail and interactive pieces, including a die-cut Ocarina window on the jacket's front, a majestic gatefold featuring both Light or Dark sides, and, of course - the finishing crescendo of a shimmering, gold foil-stamped triforc. The term Various Artists is used in the record industry when numerous singers and musicians collaborate on a song or collection of songs. Most often on , compilation album tracks appear under the name of Various Artists erroneously because the individual artist is not listed in the album's ID3 information. Warning Deleting this artist may remove other artists and scrobbles from your library - please handle with caution Note: You can view albums tagged as 'Various Artists' in your read more. We all know just how wonderful The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is, with its iconic gameplay and the impact it's had on game development ever since, and one of its many standout features is the soundtrack. From that Hyrule Field main theme to the music that plays at Lon Lon Ranch, Koji Kondo's music is inspiring - and far too catchy. Celebrating that soundtrack in style is this hour-long arrangement album called 'Hero of Time', planned for release this October. It's based on Ocarina's score, as you might imagine, and was recorded by the 64-player Slovak Nation

It’s sad to hear all the negative reviews of this album. I fully understand the negative reviews of iam8bit and their lack of attention to sound. However, my copy sounds really great and I have almost zero noise issues. This is a beautiful album all the way around.
I just received my copy yesterday, sounds amazing!! Maybe the reviewers have crappy speakers or crappy turn tables. I couldnt be happier with mine.
Just picked up my copy -- plays flawless, and the packaging is absolutely gorgeous. Sometimes I wonder if it's their set-up that is the problem and not the pressing. I can speak from experience of running a small indy record store -- for every real defect I get returned, there are about 4 that are "defective" due to improper set up. Just saying.
I heard some pops and clicks on the runout, not as bad sounding as people here make it out to sound.
mazerfaka Rega p1 with an ortofone 2M red, Yamaha 301 receiver and two speakers hehe When you say runout, do you mean at the end of the record or on the actual silent runouts in the deadwax?

Lousy sounding, loads of surface noise. Shame, the WAV files included with my original purchase sound fantastic. If only they'd put as much thought into the actual pressing as the packaging, which is brilliant. The discs are also some of the nicest looking in my collection.
I suppose I'm in the lucky few, but my copy arrived in perfect shape with almost no excess noise when playing. Maybe one or two pops throughout the entire soundtrack. Couldn't be happier, I hope more people are having my same luck!
Same for me ! My copy arrived in perfect shape and just a couple of pops throughout the two LP. I can't say if it is a question of "luck" but for sure I have no reason to complain.
People here need to realize that Iam8bit is just not a serious company for making vinyl. They focus their efforts on the collectability and not the sound. You should really just start to boicot these releases.
To the people saying that it's very noisy, it might be partially because of static build up. I haven't played my copies yet (i'm waiting to get a new turntable) so i can't speak on the sound quality, but I did open up and check out my records, and i noticed a lot of static on them. If you haven't done so already, try removing any static and maybe it will help!(I also had seam splits from shipping lol)EDIT: My records sound bad too. I got them replaced and the replacements (2nd press) sound bad too. Disappointed
Those carbon fiber record brushes are advertised as anti-static though, so why would it build up static on a record? This isn't making sense to me. If anything they would dissipate static, not increase it. Correct?
Brushes can be decent for removing dust, and also static to a certain amount, but not entirely, and using a brush on a completely static free record will make it more static. But few know that youre supposed to hold the record in your other hand while brushing, not have it on the platter. Thats how you get static off best.
Meant to reply a while back. Thanks for this. Stopped using a brush on my records and am getting far better playback now. This release still sounds like snakes squirming around in a pit, however.
TheCatalyst Sadly it's just a bad pressing. I ran it over with several different static brushes and nothing did the trick. Thankfully I had no seam splits so it's at the very least a collector's piece. Brushes dont help with static, if anything they make it worse.
Washed the records 10 times and I haven't noticed even slight improvement after each washing procedure. It's simply a really bad pressing (like most of their releases).Sending the replacement disc 1 in just packing paper without any protection sleeve for the record adds up to the fact iam8bit has not even the slightest clue about vinyl.Of course replacement disc is completely surface scratched.
That's really sad to hear. Looks like iam8bit dropped the ball again with a bad pressing. Crossing my fingers that the Cuphead soundtrack sounds good
Nope, not static, My copy has a scratchy quality throughout.
Nope, it's not static in my case. Thanks for the suggestion though.
Very noisy/poppy release. Not happy with the quality of this press, but the presentation is superb. If looks were everything, it would get a full 5 stars. Not indicative of the quality I have gotten with 8bit releases before-- the Dustforce and Warframe soundtracks both sound excellent.
Well here we are, five days after I mailed them about the broken sleeves and still no answer. Needless to say, this was the last time I bought something from these frauds. If they had actual passion for the medium and not just trying to get that sweet nerd money with their low effort releases, then they would know it's a terrible idea to ship 180g records inside the sleeves
I heard there is a second run coming out, it would be great to know if that run is a better pressing and how to tell the runs apart.
I got my records replaced with this 2nd pressing (with the green merge instead of the splatter) and it still sounds bad. I don't know if i should even bother to try for a 3rd time or just get a refund. Pretty disappointing. Maybe i just got unlucky with the ones that were sent to me
The second run is on the same colors, but Disc 1 is a merge effect instead of a splatter. Disc 2 is identical for both releases.
no rips in the sleeves of mine but the sound is pretty terrible, lots of crackles and pops. artwork and overall packaging is really nice though, just wish it sounded better/cleaner
Only did a quick listen on the green record and there's definitely noise and pops on there.
I really wanted this to be fantastic. It is far from it. The noise is simply grating, and I have records purchased at tag sales that sound more mint than these. I'm going to hold onto them for the nostalgia factor, but I think these are the last vinyl albums I'm preordering from iam8bit.
deadly claw
Same with me, way too much noise to be enjoyable, not acceptable for a new records...I will ask for a refound, please everyone with the same issue you need to contact them so they know they made a bad batch.
Got mine last night. As others have said the sleeves were torn, only about an inch on both sleeves, but still annoying. Noise-wise, my copy is fairly quiet, but has light crackle throughout and even worse during my favorite songs. I mentioned how noisy it was and was prompted to email them, so I did. Will keep you guys updated on what they tell me. Edit: as of July 25 I have not received any reply to my two emails. The packaging is insanely good, but they really dropped the ball on pressing these. Ordered in December, figured they'd take their time with this.
Do you work for them?(At least 10 words must be entered)
please send us pix of your torn sleeves to [email protected] along with your order number and we will replace them at no cost to you. :)
Mine arrived today, and like another person described, the inner sleeves for each vinyl are torn through on both edges, in the middle. Obviously due to being shipped with the vinyl in their sleeves and not removed like a lot of manufacturers will do. Especially with the sort of paper material that they're made out of. Super easy to tear through. There's like a 2-3in tear on each side, on both discs. Super frustrating!
please send us pix of your torn sleeves to [email protected] along with your order number and we will replace them at no cost to you. :)
I received my copy yesterday and it is quite noisy / muddy :-( The same issue as iam8bit's The Last Guardian release. However, they have been in touch with me after seeing a tweet of mine so maybe they can resolve it for me? I will update here if they can / do.
I'm in discussions with them now about a replacement which they're doing. However I received it today and it was the wrong product. They sent me a replacement for The Last Guardian, so it continues for now...
Wow! What happened there? Thats really annoying. Did you send it back?
Fuuuuuuuuu same here, noisy as fuuuu...I ll return it and ask for a refund.
Mine arrived today and like you described, both sleeves have big tears on each side, for both discs... so aggravating... wish they shipped them outside of their sleeves. Should have know better with the kind of paper material the packaging is made out of. Really easy to rip during shipping...
Well - let the sound speak (Beware - you won't be happy!): http://www.scolopendra.info/data/zelda.m4a
I received my copy today, the bottom of both sleeves (In the middle) are torn open because i guess the record cut its way out slightly. I only have a 60's style record player so i dont know if the noise would be due to the record or not.
Please do! I'm expecting my order with this Vinyl in the following months (as I have pre-ordered another vinyl from them on the same order), and would like to know if I made a mistake. Thanks!
